The 81-088 is a microswitch with pre-assembled wire cable designed for use with IEEE-standard injector/ejector handles in electronic equipment. It features a pre-assembled wire cable with a length of 25 mm and is supplied as a single unit. The microswitch operates over a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and is rated for up to 30,000 cycles at 30 V DC with 5–50 mA current, or 15,000 cycles at 60 V DC with 500 mA current. It includes a Molex plug (Part-No. 51021-0300) and is compatible with multiple Molex connector types. This microswitch is commonly used in hot-swap and standard injector/ejector handle assemblies to control locking and unlocking functions during insertion and ejection of plug-in units.
