The MX15CEB is a chassis-mount contactor rated for continuous current of 500A with 400MCM cable, designed for 12V–48V DC systems in demanding environments. It features a hermetic EPIC seal with ceramic-to-metal braze and gas-filled chamber exceeding IP69K protection, along with silver SPST normally-open contacts and an efficient two-coil design with built-in suppression that produces no PWM or EMI emissions. The device operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +100°C, withstands shock up to 25G and vibration to 20G across 10–2000 Hz, and demonstrates exceptional mechanical life of 300,000 cycles with 50,000 resistive load switching cycles at 500A/24VDC. Its hermetic seal, corrosion resistance, and rugged construction make it ideal for off-road vehicles, tracked vehicles, and other harsh industrial applications where high current switching and environmental durability are critical.
