The 1590BFL is a diecast aluminum enclosure with a flanged lid designed for general-purpose, wall-mounted electronic instrument applications. It features rugged diecast aluminum alloy construction with lap joint design that provides protection against dust and splashing water while improving EMI/RFI shielding. The enclosure measures 112 mm in length, 60.5 mm in width, and 37.5 mm in height, with a low side wall draft angle of 2° or less for easy PC board mounting. Standard versions are designed to meet IP54 protection rating, while watertight versions meet IP65 and include a silicone gasket with temperature rating from -40°C to 150°C. The enclosure is available in natural finish with vibra-polished surface or textured black with polyester powder coating, and includes factory-tapped assembly screw holes with hardware.
