The 1590UFL is a diecast aluminum enclosure designed for general-purpose wall-mounting applications with a flanged lid configuration. It features rugged diecast aluminum alloy construction that is tough yet easy to machine, combined with lap joint construction at the lid and box interface to provide protection against dust and splashing water while improving EMI/RFI shielding. The enclosure is designed to meet IP54 standards in its standard version, with dimensions of 93 mm length, 38.5 mm width, and 41 mm height (including the 4 mm lid height). The low side wall draft angle of 2° or less facilitates easy PC board mounting, and the enclosure includes factory-tapped assembly screw holes that accept machine screws. This configuration is ideal for electronic instrument housings, control panels, and applications requiring compact, protected enclosures with integrated wall-mounting capability.
