The 1590WEBK is a water-tight diecast aluminum enclosure designed for general-purpose electronic instrument applications. It features rugged diecast aluminum alloy construction with lap joint design that provides protection against dust and splashing water while improving EMI/RFI shielding. The enclosure is finished with a textured black polyester powder coat for durability and includes black screws to enhance appearance. With dimensions of 188 mm length × 120 mm width × 82 mm height, it is designed to meet IP65 rating and includes a silicone gasket with temperature rating of -40°C to 150°C. The gasket is supplied loose inside the enclosure and can be installed after machining or painting, with proper sealing achieved when lid screws are torqued to 25-30 cN·m. This enclosure is ideal for applications requiring robust environmental protection and electromagnetic shielding in compact form factors.
