The 1591DSBK is a general purpose ABS plastic multipurpose enclosure from the 1591 Series, designed for vertical mounting of printed circuit boards with integrated card guides. The enclosure features molded card guides on all side walls that accept 1.5 mm (0.062") thick PC boards, and employs lap joint construction to provide protection against dust and water splashing, meeting IP54 design standards. The lid is secured with self-tapping screws into fully plastic posts, and the enclosure is available in black color with standard nickel finish screws. This general purpose version is molded from non-flame-retardant ABS plastic, making it suitable for applications where cost efficiency is prioritized over flame retardancy, such as general electronics enclosures, control boxes, and multipurpose device housings.
