The EX-AR182 is an explosion-proof enclosed switch designed for use in hazardous locations. It utilizes an SPDT contact arrangement with an electrical rating of 15A at 125, 250, or 480 VAC, and is also rated for DC applications. The switch is actuated by a nylon roller lever that is adjustable through 360 degrees and can be positively locked at approximately 0.2° intervals. This device is UL listed for NEMA 7 (Class I, Groups C and D) and NEMA 9 (Class II, Groups E, F, and G) environments, making it suitable for industrial control applications where flammable gases or combustible dusts are present.
