MDM-31PBS-8-A174 is a 31-contact Micro-D PCB connector plug designed for high-density, high-reliability board-to-board, board-to-cable, and cable-to-cable applications. It features a metal shell with electroless nickel finish (A174), straight board mount (BS) termination, and 0.050" (1.27 mm) contact spacing with liquid crystal polymer (LCP) insulator material. The connector offers a standard termination tail length of 0.109" (2.77 mm) ±0.015" (0.38 mm) and supports dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level. With insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum and contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum at 3 amps, this connector is suitable for flex circuitry, flat cable, and printed circuit board applications requiring robust environmental performance including thermal shock from -55°C to +125°C.
