The 142-0693-006 is an SMA straight plug assembly designed for RF and microwave connectivity applications. It features a semirigid RG 405 cable with 0.086 inch diameter and is rated for 570 V RMS at 7 MHz. The connector exhibits excellent mechanical durability with a minimum of 300 mating cycles and supports mating torque specifications of 7–10 inch-pounds, with a coupling proof torque of 15 inch-pounds minimum. The assembly incorporates brass body and nut components with cold plating over nickel and copper, along with a Teflon insulator and beryllium copper retention spring for reliable performance. Environmental compliance includes thermal shock testing from -65°C to 165°C, corrosion resistance per ML-STD-202 Method 101, and moisture resistance per ML-STD-202 Method 106, making it suitable for demanding aerospace, military, and telecommunications applications.
