142-0761-891 is a high-frequency end-launch SMA jack assembly designed for edge-mount printed circuit board applications with a 10-mil pin configuration. The connector features a 50-ohm impedance with a frequency range of 0–26.5 GHz and VSWR of 1.05+0.02F(GHz) maximum at 0–18 GHz, making it suitable for demanding RF applications. The body is constructed from brass with gold plating over nickel and copper, while the contact is beryllium copper with gold plating, and the insulator is TEFLON, ensuring excellent electrical performance and durability. Key electrical specifications include a working voltage of 170 VRMS maximum at sea level, dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VRMS minimum, and insulation resistance of 1000 megohm minimum. The connector operates over a temperature range of -65°C to +165°C and meets MIL-PRF-39012 environmental standards including thermal shock, corrosion, shock, vibration, and moisture resistance testing. This connector is ideal for high-frequency RF and microwave applications in aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and instrumentation systems where reliable, high-performance signal transmission is critical.
