The 971-SA is a momentary-action polymeric foot switch designed for light-duty industrial and commercial control applications. It features a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) contact configuration with Form C switching and is constructed from rustproof, corrosion-resistant polymeric material with raised ribs on the treadle for positive traction. The switch is rated for 15 A at 125–250 VAC (1/2 H.P. at 125–250 VAC) and offers an IP20 degree of protection with optional IP68 rating available upon request. It includes a non-skid base pad, integrated adjustable strain relief clamp accommodating cord sizes from 0.250 to 0.400 inches diameter, and two mounting holes for rigid floor or equipment installation. The compact design with flame-retardant material (94-VI) and versatile configuration makes it suitable for machine tool control, medical equipment, and general industrial switching applications.
