The FAN3100TSX is a single 2 A gate driver designed to drive an N-channel enhancement-mode MOSFET in low-side switching applications. It features TTL-compatible inputs and operates over a wide supply range of 4.5 V to 18 V. The driver provides a high peak sink/source current of 3 A (at VDD = 12 V) to enable fast MOSFET switching, with typical rise and fall times of 13 ns and 9 ns respectively into a 1 nF load. The device incorporates MillerDriveâ„¢ architecture to minimize switching losses and includes an under-voltage lockout (UVLO) function for reliable startup. Packaged in a 5-pin SOT23, it is well-suited for high-frequency designs such as switch-mode power supplies, DC-to-DC converters, and synchronous rectifier circuits.
