It features a maximum forward voltage drop of 0.670 V at its rated forward current of 8 A and can withstand a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 150 A. The device operates over a wide junction temperature range from -55°C to +150°C and is housed in a very low-profile TO-277 package with a typical height of 1.1 mm. These characteristics make it suitable for applications such as AC-DC and DC-DC converters, mobile chargers, LED lighting, and reverse polarity protection.
