The 66L095 is a RoHS-compliant, subminiature bimetallic thermostat in an 8-pin DIP package designed for accurate temperature sensing and switching in a single device. It features gold-plated contacts, positive snap action operation, and is configured for open-on-rise (break) contact operation with a factory-preset temperature setting. The device operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 160°C (long-term exposure limits) with an operating window of 40°C to 130°C, achieving up to 100,000 life cycles at 5 VDC with low-level switching capability down to 0.001 A. The thermostat is ideal for surface and air sensing on crowded PC boards, offering fast response with excellent repeatability and is sealed to withstand wave soldering and board washing operations.
