The connector employs gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts (30 µm gold mating area) with tin-plated solder tails (3.10 mm termination post length) and a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) housing rated UL 94V-0 for flame resistance. Mechanical retention is provided by brass boardlock with tin-copper over nickel plating, and the connector is wave solder capable to 240°C, 260°C, and 265°C.
