BPC5682J is a 5W non-inductive planar high power resistor from the BPC Series, designed for high power density applications. It features a 6.8 kO resistance value with ±5% tolerance, constructed with a thick film resistor element on a 96% alumina substrate with tin plated copper alloy leads. The resistor offers a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +155°C, a TCR of 100 ppm/°C, and maximum operating voltage of 300Vac/500VDC. With a dielectric withstand voltage of 5000V minimum and insulation resistance over 1000 MO, it is RoHS3 compliant. Common applications include power supply pre-load resistors, UPS systems, snubber and pulse handling circuits, in-rush current protection, and bleeder resistors.
