The 66F120-0314 is a subminiature bimetal disc thermostat in an 8-pin DIP package designed for accurate temperature sensing and switching on printed circuit boards. It features gold-plated contacts with a contact resistance of 50 milliohms maximum and supports multiple contact ratings: 1.0 A at 120 VAC (30,000 cycles), 1.0 A at 48 VDC (25,000 cycles), and 0.001 A at 5 VDC (100,000 cycles). The device operates over a temperature range of 40°C to 130°C with a standard tolerance of ±5°C and includes a 3 millisecond maximum contact bounce specification. The thermostat is sealed with high-temperature epoxy for wave soldering and board washing, features a PPS base material rated 94 V0, and achieves 1,000,000 mechanical life cycles. Its compact design, RoHS compliance, and reliable snap-action switching make it ideal for thermal protection and monitoring in consumer electronics, industrial controls, and PC board applications.
