67L040 is a subminiature bimetallic disc thermostat from the Airpax 6700 series, designed for accurate and reliable temperature sensing and switching in a TO-220 package. This thermostat features open on rise (limit) contact operation with a 40°C (±5°C) operating temperature set point, 4°C minimum differential, and 20°C minimum reset temperature. The device offers positive snap action with gold-plated contacts, supporting up to 0.5A at 48 VDC for 20,000 cycles or low-level switching at 5 VDC for 100,000 cycles. RoHS compliant and cURus/VDE approved, it is ideal for thermal management applications on power supplies, PC boards, computers, aircraft, automotive, and test equipment where turning on indicator lights, sounding alarms, or shutting down systems is required.
