AE101MD1AV2B is a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) toggle switch from the Alcoswitch AE Series, featuring a vertical right-angle short bat actuator with gold contacts and process sealing. The switch is designed with a machined brass toggle plated with heavy nickel, a nylon bushing and cover ultrasonically welded to the case with an integral O-ring (UL94VO), and fixed welded contacts with precious metal (gold) termination on brass strip. It meets MIL-STD-202 Method 112C leak test requirements and features epoxy sealing of terminals as standard. The switch operates reliably over a temperature range of -20°C to +85°C, with storage capability from -45°C to +100°C, and is rated for 2 A at 250 VAC or 5 A at 125 VAC with silver contacts (gold contacts available). This process-sealed design makes it ideal for applications requiring environmental protection against moisture and contaminants, such as marine, aerospace, and industrial control systems.
