8-188275-2 is a 12-position surface mount device (SMD) female-on-board connector for the AMP Micro-MaTch miniature connector system. This connector is designed for standard reflow and infrared solder processes ("FULL SMD") and features polarization accomplished by the housing, eliminating the need for polarization holes in the PCB. The contact is designed with an additional spring to compensate for differences in thermal expansion between housing and PCB, preventing tension on solder joints.
