The AN920036 is a non-contact magnetic angle position sensor designed for continuous 90° rotation sensing with dual independent outputs. It operates using Hall Effect technology with permanent magnets, providing a linear voltage output (10% to 90% of input voltage) that is ratiometric to the 5.0 VDC ± 10% input supply. The sensor features high tolerance for misalignment, a maximum air gap of 5.5 mm, and operates reliably across -40°C to 125°C with IP68 ingress protection rating. With 18 AWG wire leads (305 mm length), ±3.5% output accuracy and linearity, and no mechanical interface to wear, the AN920036 is ideal for applications such as implement position sensing, steer-by-wire systems, gear selection, and as a zero-contact encoder alternative in automotive and industrial equipment.
